For me, home is not only a physical place but a feeling--warmth, familiarity, connection. I tried to capture this through intimate instrumentation, space, and organic textures. Collaboration was also key-working with musicians who bring their own voices made the album feel like a shared experience, much like home itself.
This time, I see myself more as a sound curator. Instead of telling stories directly, I focused on creating spaces where emotions can unfold naturally. It’s more reflective—less about a narrative and more about evoking a feeling.
These songs carry a deep sense of nostalgia. It feels personal, and I wanted to explore them in a new way. I also love the way how he sings, humble yet melodically rich.
Paul and I have an unspoken musical understanding—working with him is effortless. With Sonor, bringing in more musicians added new layers to the music. The process was organic—I start with a core idea, and we build from there, allowing each musician to shape the sound while keeping the essence intact. A song feels “complete” when it no longer belongs just to me.
I’d love to work on a film score or explore new ways to shape sound. I’m always looking for something that feels timeless—where the music isn’t bound to a moment but keeps unfolding with each listen. Maybe that’s the real Easter egg :-)
