丹麦音乐人 Maximillian 在今年即将来到中国进行他的第一次中国巡演。赶在巡演之前，我们荣幸与主办方后青年合作，邀请充满才华的年轻音乐人进行一次专访，分享他对自己创作的理解与对这次巡演的期待。
UPEE：在过去的 2024 年你发布了三支单曲《Honest Too》《Day & Night》《Home》，从情感的失落与惊喜，写到自己的反思和体悟，以及向朋友与更多乐迷传递温暖和信念。可以分享你平时是如何创作出一首歌的吗，以及在过去的一年有感受到哪些自己的改变吗？
Maximillian：当我写歌的时候，我通常都去工作室。然后压根不知道那天我要写什么，但当音乐开始的时候，创作就这么开始了。而有时这就像，突然有一个点子出现在我的脑海里，然后我走进工作室，就像追逐那个想法来完成它一样。
是什么改变了我… 嗯，我完成了一张专辑，将于2025年呈现给大家。非常令人兴奋。所以我想我今年也刚满26岁。哦，去年吧？ 慢慢地，变成了一个“成年人”。我觉得时间过得有点太快了，太突然了。就好像昨天我还是21岁，但是实际上已经... 哈哈哈！
When I write music, it's mostly I go into the studio not really knowing what I'm gonna write about that day and then, it sort of, just happens one of the music starts getting created. But sometimes it's like an idea I popped up in my mind and I go into the studio and then like chase that idea to finish it. What has changed me... I mean I finished an album which is coming out in 2025, very exciting! So I guess also just I turned 26 this year. Oh! Last year wasn't? I mean growing up slowly becoming an adult. I think I feel like time is moving a little too fast, all of a sudden, it was like I was 21 like yesterday, but not the case anymore.
UPEE：《Day & Night》有令我回想起Angèle《Libre》的“Funk律动感”，你们都是从非英语的国家走入乐迷视野的新一代音乐人。不同的语言背景对你而言有带来哪些特别的感受吗，有考虑过用丹麦语进行一些创作吗？
Maximillian：实际上，是的，我一直在考虑用丹麦语创作一些作品。其实我已经写了一首丹麦语歌曲，只是暂时还没发布。因为我知道自己在英语写歌方面花了很多年才变得擅长，而用丹麦语创作却非常不熟练。所以我想或许在2025年，我会专注于提升丹麦语的创作能力，希望能像用英语写歌一样自如地用丹麦语创作。
Actually yeah, I've been playing with thought about creating something in Danish for quite a while. I actually already wrote a song in Danish. It's not coming out just yet but because I want to know I've spent so many years coming good at writing in English and I'm super bad at writing songs in Danish. So I think maybe in 2025 I'm gonna be focusing on becoming a better writer in Danish. I want to be as good in writing songs in Danish as I am in writing songs in English.
UPEE：距离上一张专辑《Too Young》已经过去了四年，可以给中国的乐迷们一点关于下一张专辑的暗示吗？
Maximillian：我的下一张专辑会有更多…… 我的意思是，每次我写的东西都是非常个人化的，但这张专辑包含不只是关于我个人的部分。这些年来我有很多朋友经历了一些事情，我也有经历一些事情。所以会有更多关于我自己的个人经历，以及我的朋友和家人所经历的种种。嗯，总之，能让大家听到这张新专辑，我真的很开心。
I mean every time I ever write something is very personal, but this album contains songs that are not just about me personally. Throughout the years I had friends who's been going through some stuff, and myself had some things I went through. So it's gonna be a lot more about my own personal experiences but also about what my friends and family members that has gone through. Um, it's gonna be exciting. I'm really really excited about releasing it.
UPEE：《Too Young》这张专辑有很多关于青春的写作和感受，而在这段时间，许多乐迷也发现在歌词或声音上你的变化，你会如何形容现在的 Maximillian？
Maximillian：现在的“我”？ 风格目前依然还很流行，但是我开始尝试一些更像男低音歌手或者类似的什么的。最近我已经完成了一首6/8拍的歌，所以拭目以待吧。
Current Maximillian is very... genre is very pop at the moment. but I'm starting to try out some more like Krüner vibe or something and I've got done a song in 6/8 lately...
UPEE：可以在你的音乐中感受到来自 James Blake、Frank Ocean 和 Justin Bieber 的影响，例如《Letters》就让我回想起《Friends That Break Your Heart》的一些抒情时刻；同时 James Blake 和 Frank Ocean 都是另类底色很鲜明的创作者，你有想过在之后尝试更多 Alternative 气质的创作吗，还有哪些元素是你想“可能在之后可以着手开展尝试”的？
Maximillian：我是说每次我走进工作室，我们都会尝试一些不同的元素。最近做了一首这样的歌，有点荒野西部的味道。你知道当你看西部电影的时候，想象一个这样的场景，就是有人在在一个酒吧里打架，像那种很古早的西部酒馆，然后突然不知从哪儿出来的小提琴的声音。我想每个人都知道，那种有点像啦啦啦… (拟声表演) 就像人们那样跳排舞一样，而我把它变成了一首流行歌曲，哈哈，听上去还不错。我想也许在未来，我也会尝试一些更多不同的东西。比如Afrobeat或者别的什么。
I mean every time I go into the studio, we try some different elements. Recently I made a song that kind of has like this wild west... you know when you watch a wildwest movie, and a bar fight starts in the saloon. There's a certain violin melody that comes on. I think everyone knows that kind of like lalalalalala... It's always like that kind of thing when people dance line dance that I put that into a pop song. It works! But I think maybe in the future I'm also going to try out some different things like maybe Afrobeat or more.
UPEE：可以给大家分享你最近喜欢的音乐吗？
Maximillian：我在撸铁的时候听Psytrance有一种罪恶的快感。我喜欢听 Psytrance，哈哈。有首歌叫Bigger Bang，我想他叫拉贾什么的，不太记得了。撸铁的时候听真是太棒了。它会给你最后的那一点10%，当你不得不推那最后一组的时候。
I have a guilty pleasure for like Psytrance when I'm working out. I like listening to Psytrance. This song called Bigger Bang, I can't remember, I think his name is Raja or something. It's just amazing to work out, so it just gives you that last 10 percent, when you have to push. Ha ha.
UPEE：在 2023 年你发布了中国地区独占的选辑《Best Encounter》，而在今年你终于要来到中国进行演出，对此你有什么期待，有什么话想对中国的乐迷们说的吗？
Maximillian：我对去中国的期望超越任何事情。但因为我从未去过那里，所以我不知道该期待什么。我很兴奋能尝到中华美食，我特别喜欢中国菜。我很高兴能在中国见到我的粉丝。另外，我觉得我在中国有粉丝这件事简直太疯狂了！就像在地球的另一边，真是太不可思议了！ 还有我想对我的中国粉丝说，我很高兴见到你，我已经等不及要把所有的歌都唱给你们听，谢谢你们也在一直支持我。所以是的，真是太谢谢你们了！
My expectations for going to China beyond anything. Because I have never been there, I don't know what to expect. I'm very excited to try the food. I'm a big sucker for Chinese food. I'm very excited to meet my fans in China. I think it's in insane that I have fans in China. It's like on the other side of the globe, it's really incredible! And I just want to say to my Chinese fan, I want to say I'm very excited to meet you and I can't wait to play all the songs for you, that you guys have been supporting. So yeah! Thank you so much!!
